Namibia: Drought Affected Figure Rises

The Namibian government has announced that those requiring relief aid to avoid hunger has risen to 400,000 as a severe drought grips the nation. With a population of approximately 2,3 million, this represents more than a fifth of the country. Unicef is saying 778,000 at risk of malnutrition, including more than 100,000 children.
