Namibia Drought Causes Food Security Crisis

IFRC is appealing for more than a million USD to provide food aid to over 300,000 people in Namibia affected by a serious drought. This is a huge number of people for Namibia - the total population of the country is just over 2 million - and is a devastating blow for the country. The next harvest is nine months away. Without assistance, these people face very serious challenges.
