HIV in Africa

Looks like HIV targets are not going to be met. This should perhaps not come as a huge surprise. Apart from questions regarding the effectiveness of existing interventions, recent upheavals in funding haven't helped. Sub-Saharan Africa still carries the bulk of the disease burden as home to roughly 70% of people living with HIV and AIDS. Awesome (and depressing) map here.
