Poverty is relative

Stereotype-breaking random factoids for Friday:

This $32 billion, not million, is slightly more than four times the current budget of the government of the United Republic of Tanzania, which is less than $8 billion.
The same amount is equivalent to 25 per cent of Angola's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) based on Purchasing Power Parity (PPP), or half of Kenya's GDP.

Nice little reminder of just how incredibly different various African countries are in terms of GDP and resource wealth.
