Africa helping Europe - Angola and Portugal

Angola's President Dos Santos has said that his country is willing to help Portugal get through the current economic crisis. Angola was a Portuguese colony until 1975 and fought a bitter civil war for most of the years since, but in recent years the Angolan economy has been growing rapidly, fuelled mostly by oil revenues. It seems that Angola or Angolan companies may buy shares in Portuguese companies expected to be privatised as part of an IMF bail-out deal.
