Cash-cruch closes Swaziland schools
Thousands of people have been protesting in Swaziland over the past few days. Teachers' unions have been among those leading protests after schools closed. The government claims that there is no more money to run schools in the country. South Africa has agreed to provide a R2.4billion loan to the country but it has been reported that the money has not yet been released to Swaziland. Critics and opposition groups claim that the king is responsible for the dire financial situation of the country. There have been reports of clashes between protesters and security forces.
