Angola arrests journalists over mass fainting report
The CPJ is calling on Angolan authorities to explain the sudden arrest of a journalist working for the church-run radio station, Radio Ecclesia, after the station reported on a wave of mass fainting that has affected more than 800 people in the country since April. Most of the victims of the fainting have been teens and the government last week began an investigation into the cause of the fainting. Tiago, who is also a teacher, was arrested after he reported the fainting of 20 pupils at his school on July 29th.
