WHO facts about NTDs

Or, for the less acronym-familiar: World Health Organisation (WHO) facts about Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). NTDs are so called "because they persist exclusively in the poorest and the most marginalized populations". These are the diseases that (for the most part) are wiping out those with no defense, no assets to draw on and no access to proper/affordable healthcare. They are also, very often, painfully (relative to what is actually happening) cheap and efficient to treat. So, here are some facts about NTDs from the WHO.

End The Neglect is a great place to find out more.
